Contentment
enfolds me, in the
early morning hours here I sit,
entranced by the sea. Quietly
listening to the waves in motion,
always surrounded by the
sounds of the sea.
The moon overhead, in
this wonderful landscape, enriched
by the skies of violets
and blues, here I sit entranced
by the nature, surrounding, protecting,
mezmerising me completely through.

The swell of the waves,
breaking on shore, patterns of
water lapping the sands, images
of wavelets, leaving traces,
on the damp sands on
the shore. Here I sit,
in utter contentment,listening
and hearing her speak. My
love of the ocean reflects
in the beauty, so profound
before me, I see.
Mournful cry of the gulls
overhead, the sandpipers
running fast ahead, seashells
strewn on the shore, entranced
I sit here, listening to
the earth's rhythmic sounds of
the sea. Calming, soothing
the spirit within me.
