Teddy Bears

It was love at first sight
you sitting there looking so warm and bright.
Smiles highlightening all faces,
just for the love of your gentle graces.

Soft and cuddly, warmth and love,
the joys you give, filling us with so much love.
You comfort us when we're sad and blue,
encouraging us to hold and hug you.

Wipe our tears, calm our fears,
without you our lives,
would be empty indeed,
without your furry company.

Listening is one of your wonderful advantages,
you never stop, just let us go at it.

You're there for our sadness,
and there for our joys,
we keep you close,
more then any other toys.

We never outgrow you,
you still reign supreme,
our love for you only grows
if you look around me you'll see.

All shapes and sizes, colors and textures,
smooth and furry, comical gestures,
you come sad, and happy inspiring and cute.
