Will You Still

Will you still love me, when the nightmares come?
Will you stay with me when the war returns, and
charlie comes looking for me? Will you hold me
when the dead return, Will you understand when I
really need to be alone, and need to shut you out?

Will you love the demon within, as well as you love me?,
There are visions in my mind, that you can never see, nor
could you ever understand. There is terror unleased, with
uncontrolled fear.They ride the back of the demon that
comes to me at night. They have come before,
and they will come again. All I can do
is hide and hope they move on. When that
happens you will see, and hear things you
should never know of.

You will see what is always there, the
dead, hiding just out of view. When those
things come, will you still love me then?
Or will you pray for your paper world of
peace, and wish to rejoin the living?.
