When I'm With You

My heart lightens up when I am with you,
it overflows with the love you given me.
Just in the seeing, my anticipation grows,
the experience of that which is you.
Waves of warmth flood my being,
to hear you speak raises me to fever pitch.
Surrounding me with the never ending joy that is you.

When you reach out and touch me,
fire within me is fueled, that which only you
hold the key to extinguish.
Occuring again and again, when we meet,
you flood my senses with desire, for you,
only for you.
For this day for this moment of time,
we become not two, but one.
Constantly soothing our spirit with the love
we have for each other.

How did this occur?
That I cannot tell you, only that in the meeting
we have joined as no other,
for I have never loved another as I have loved you.
This is way beyond my experience of life and love,
this is another level of love,
that is being experienced by the joining of us.
